These small forest dwelling canids are native to Cishan, Sawyer, and northern Golyn. Able to climb trees, most hespers live and sleep in trees, but it isn't uncommon to encounter them on the ground.
Omnivores, they feed on small animals and tree fruits.
They have long faces and snouts with a long sleek body and relatively short legs. Their long thick tail is flexible like its body.
The Hesper is inspired by the extinct Hesperocyon, an extinct genus of canids.
